We are committed to creating a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment and culture that aims to remove barriers to engagement and participation.

We understand there is a need to provide opportunities to artists who are currently underrepresented within the sector. We particularly welcome applications from artists identifying as:

  • Black, Asian or ethnically diverse;
  • LGBTQIA+;
  • women and gender expansive, trans, non-binary;
  • D/deaf or disabled;
  • Having caring responsibilities;
  • From a low socio-economic background.

We want to ensure that our application processes are clear and accessible to everyone. We will work with all applicants to ensure your access needs are met, to the best of our abilities, when making your application and will ensure that access requirements are not a factor in our decision-making.

There are several ways we can support you in making your application:

  • We can offer guidance to applicants on the process of making an application;
  • Information is available in alternative formats (including large print, Braille, Easy Read, audio version;
  • We can offer additional in-house one-to-one support to make an application.

We will store applications electronically for one year. The data contained within your application will not be used for any purpose other than short-listing, running, and evaluating the program. We will not share your details with any third parties without obtaining permission from you to do so.
