Too Happy Artist Commission 2025 Out Of Office by Kialy Tihngang

Silenced by misogynoir, monotony and pinstripes, Office Girl flees from the workforce of an elderly prawn cocktail-guzzling capitalist, only to find herself in a new corporate netherworld led by a suspiciously slick new boss with a sinister secret. Using absurdity to mask its despondency, Out Of Office exposes the structural injustice of late-stage capitalism, revealing that exploitation never goes out of style – it just gets better branding.

Out Of Office had its World Premiere at Glasgow Short Film Festival in March 2025.
